Frisky Freckles

Although counter-intuitive, faking freckles is no longer taboo or considered lame but almost as natural as darkening your brows. Over the past two seasons we have seen makeup artists incorporate the youthful marks to designers collections. They are individual, sweet and delightful.

Intimidating to recreate, real freckles are actually not identical to one another, but rather varied in size, shape, or color—meaning that any mistakes you make may actually work in your favor. To try the trend at home, try dotting around the cheek area with an eye pencil in a taupe shade and experiment in different shapes and sizes.
