The Venice Biennale continues to amaze us with its’ incredible works on display this year. Something we are absolutely compelled by is the stand-out work of Pamela Rosenkranz – situated at the Swiss Pavillion.
Pamela Rosenkranz combines science and biology with art to create immersive spaces incorporating light, colour, scent, sound, and even hormones and bacteria – literally providing it with a life-like appeal! The blushed peach-toned liquid that ripples on the floor of one work, contrasts with a luminous green painted and projected surface that sit next to eachother in the large space communicating ideas around the artificially made versus the natural.
Looking at more of her work, we think of skin, leaves, bacteria, plastic, the synthetic… These thought provoking and mesmerising artworks by Pamela Rosenkranz have us feeling inspired.
