There would be two people, Lady GaGa and Dolly Parton. Both woman express themselves through their style and influences. Both are unapologetically themselves.

I’ve been with Servilles for four years. I love doing colours and styling. I’m a keen surfer who loves to travel and see and explore new places. I’m always in the company with friends and family or my twin sister. My Mum is Cook Island and late Dad was European which is where I got my love for the outdoors.

Being a home girl, when it comes to my biggest inspiration over 35 year, it would have to be Paul Serville. Being a founder member of Servilles, I was fortunate enough to be Paul’s apprentice. His never ending drive for the next trend is next to none.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR PROUDEST CAREER MOMENT?
That is hard to pinpoint. I am very proud of the new generation of hairdressers that I work with. Watching and being part of their journey to become confident and creative stylists brings me joy.

I’m a home girl at heart. When it comes to being out of the salon, recreation. I love a fire in winter. Hanging out with my cat Luna. Upcycling fabrics and objects to they get to have another chance at life.

Back in the early 2000s, as a colourist I was lucky enough to attend back then as husband and wife team, ‘Brookes + Brookes’ Hair Show. That show always to this date is the most inspiring for me.

I get clients to make their own toner colours at home using food colouring or foods e.g. beetroot juice, coffee. More natural and gentle on the hair.
